Our Services
We offer surgical care mainly to patients with mental disorders, but we also consult patients in general. We treat digestive system disorders (e.g. esophagus, stomach, duodenum, small intestine, large intestine, anus, liver, gallbladder, bile duct, pancreas), mammary gland disease, both benign and malignant, burns, external wounds (injuries such as cuts), bedsores, and many other conditions. We treat and perform an operation for bedsores in cooperation with plastic surgeons at Tokyo Metropolitan Tama Medical Center. When the condition is severe and specialist care is needed, patients will be promptly referred and transferred to the Center. We also provide secondary examinations for breast cancer, stomach cancer, and colorectal cancer in our Clinic.
Our Clinic and Wards
In May 2012, our Surgery Department has moved to a new seven-story building with up-to-date equipment and more comfortable environment. We provide outpatient care in the morning of Wednesday and Friday (the reception closes at 11a.m.).
Our Surgery Wards is treating inpatient centering on surgical operations.The locked ward is mainly for surgical care for patients with mental disorders and the care is provided considering patients’ mental and physical traits, in cooperation with the Ward Psychiatrists. We aim to minimize physical restraint while providing care. In the open ward we also provide surgical care for patients without mental disorders.
