1. Medical Treatment Details and Features

　We at pediatric surgery department offer surgical treatments (surgical operation) for pediatric systemic diseases and injuries in children. Our surgical treatment covers extensive body area literally from face to limb tips. Also, we diagnose and treat wide range of patients including fetus, newborn babies, infants, young children and schoolchildren. We listen, recognize and respond to emotions of children and their families, and solve problems through multi-professional collaborations, and safe and reliable medical care.

2. Main target diseases

　Diseases include congenital malformation, tumor、trauma and acute inflammation. Targeted organs include digestive tract (inside oral cavity, esophagus, stomach, duodenum, small intestine, appendix, colon and anus), abdominal organ (liver, biliary tract, pancreas, spleen, kidney, bladder, uterus and ovary) , and respiratory organ (larynx, trachea, lung and mediastinum). Others include abdominal wall and body surface.

At our hospital, as a rule, except in the case of emergency cares at ER we only accept patients based on a referral appointment system.
